We bought our first baby in 2003. She was sad and stinky and needed tons of love. I shed a few tears over this one when we found ourselves over our heads and with o so empty pockets but it all worked out in the end and provided lots of newlywed memories!

It was impossible to get a good pic of this room..we had to be chintzy on the curtains and looks like I just had a dowel up there to hold them up. These were serious pinching penny days;) They make me smile! Challenging yet rewarding.

So there it is...Our first casa in a flash. It was a full time job for the first year and we had no functioning kitchen for a year(no sink no nothin). Nothing like washing dishes in the backyard to make you appreciate a sink and garbage disposal..much less a dishwasher! We had the opportunity to buy the house next door, and thought about it for a week and decided we were to tired of working so hard and ready to have a social life! But...we would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
